FAQ
Most popular questions we get asked.
The diagnostic visit is $129.95. That covers a technician coming out, diagnosing the fault properly, and giving you a firm quote. The repair is priced separately: parts and labour depend on the appliance and the fault, and you approve the price before any work starts. No surprise charges.
We cover 32 local service areas across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia, with technicians based in the areas they serve. Each of our location pages lists the specific communities covered, so the fastest way to check is to find your area on the Locations page.
Almost certainly. Our technicians are factory-trained on Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Frigidaire, Maytag, Kenmore and Electrolux, and we work on most other major brands as well. If you are not sure, tell us the brand and model when you book and we will confirm before we schedule.
Every repair is covered for 90 days on both parts and labour. If the same fault comes back within that window, we return and fix it at no charge. The warranty covers the repair we performed, not unrelated faults that develop later in the appliance.
It depends on the appliance's age, what has failed, and what the part costs. Many common faults are worth fixing, and a repair is usually a fraction of the cost of a new appliance plus delivery and installation. Some faults on an older unit are not worth it. Our technician will tell you honestly which situation you are in once the appliance has been diagnosed, and the decision is yours. Each of our appliance pages sets out what is usually worth repairing for that type of appliance.
