Boreal charges a flat $129.95 diagnostic fee to identify the problem, then provides a transparent quote before any repair work begins. You approve the price before we proceed - no surprises.
We repair all major brands. Samsung is the brand we service most often in the Halifax area, followed by LG and GE. We also regularly repair Whirlpool, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Maytag, KitchenAid and Bosch.
Refrigerators are our most common repair in the Halifax area - they account for about a quarter of everything our technicians fix here, a larger share than across the rest of Nova Scotia. Washers come next, followed by dishwashers and ranges. If your fridge or freezer has stopped cooling, ask us about the compressor: some carry a manufacturer parts warranty of up to five years.
Yes. Every Boreal repair is backed by a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty, so you're covered if the same issue returns.
Some compressors carry a manufacturer parts warranty of up to five years. If yours qualifies, Boreal can handle the manufacturer paperwork - we'll just need a copy of your original bill of sale to confirm coverage. You still pay for diagnosis and labour; this covers the qualifying part only.
