FAQ
Most popular questions we get asked.
Boreal charges a flat $129.95 diagnostic fee to identify the problem, then provides a transparent quote before any repair work begins. You approve the price before we proceed - no surprises.
We repair all major brands. In the Niagara region, the brands we service most often are Samsung, LG, GE, Frigidaire and Whirlpool, but we also regularly repair Maytag, Electrolux, Hisense, KitchenAid and Bosch.
Refrigerators are our most common repair in the Niagara region, followed by washers, dishwashers, ranges and dryers. Dishwasher repairs make up a slightly larger share of our Niagara work than they do in neighbouring Hamilton.
Yes. Every Boreal repair is backed by a 90-day parts-and-labour warranty, so you're covered if the same issue returns.
Some compressors carry a manufacturer parts warranty of up to five years. If yours qualifies, Boreal can handle the manufacturer paperwork - we'll just need a copy of your original bill of sale to confirm coverage. You still pay for diagnosis and labour; this covers the qualifying part only.
